It must be ACHIEVED.

"There is nothing wrong with America that

the faith, love of freedom, intelligence and energy of her citizens cannot cure."

- Dwight D. Eisenhower

Delaware Freedom Riders is a grassroots association of individuals      dedicated to encouraging and educating fellow activists in an effort to have our voices heard in the legislature, both at the State and Federal levels.

We believe that by drawing upon the unique strengths of individuals we can make a difference in the fight to preserve, promote, and protect the rights and freedoms of motorcyclists both as riders and as citizens.

We are not an organization.  We are not a club.  We do not have officers, dues, or formal meetings.  We do not have patches or pins.

What we do have is the enthusiasm and desire to not stand idly by while our rights and freedoms are slowly being eroded.  We are convinced that by being involved and educated on the issues that our ideas and concerns will be heard and that concrete results can be obtained.

Each of us has different talents.  Some are better at writing, others are better at making phone calls.  Some can sift through reams of government documents and publications; others don’t have the patience for that, but given a few talking points can make sense of it to their neighbor, their councilman, and their legislator.  Everyone’s strengths are needed and recognized.

No one can do it alone.  Everyone needs a little help from their friends.

We believe in debate and freedom of expression.  That is how great ideas are born.  Our founding fathers were a bunch of rabble-rousers who did not always agree, yet they created one of the most memorable documents of all time, the Declaration of Independence.

We are not a charity.  We leave to others the ‘feel-good’ rides.  The sole focus of Delaware Freedom Riders is activism in the area of promoting motorcycle safety and awareness and the preservation of individual rights.
